We collect account and profile details such as name, email address, role (student, teacher, parent, or coaching center), and date of birth for age verification. We may also collect coaching center information, learning activity, community posts, support requests, notification preferences, and basic technical data like IP address, device type, and browser logs.
We use data to create and manage accounts, verify eligibility and age, operate the LMS and coaching marketplace, personalize learning experiences, deliver notifications, prevent fraud, maintain platform security, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal data. Your profile and content may be visible to others based on your role, settings, and participation in classes or communities. We share limited information with trusted service providers for hosting, analytics, authentication, and communication services under appropriate safeguards. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect user safety.
We keep data only as long as needed for platform operations, legal obligations, and fraud prevention. We apply technical and organizational safeguards to protect user accounts, educational records, and coaching center information.
MentoraCity is designed for education. Students must be between 5 and 26 years old. Teachers and coaches must be at least 15 years old. Users under 18 should use the platform with parent or guardian oversight. If we learn a user does not meet the age requirements, we may restrict or delete the account. We collect date of birth only for age verification and safety.
You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data by contacting our support team. You can also manage visibility and privacy options in your account settings where available and opt out of non-essential communications.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product or legal changes. We will update the date above and, where required, provide additional notice. Continued use means you accept the updated policy.
